"The car is small!" Fawn complained, bumping his head but moving to do as John asked as he straddled the man's lap.

John slouched a little so he could guide himself against Fawn's ass.

"We'll make do," he promised.

John wrapped his fingers round him and began to stroke. It took a minute to figure it out, then he was lifting to thrust hard as he could while tugging him to the edge.

"Fawn...Fawn," he panted. Everything was so close and tight, the back seat not remotely designed for this activity.

But John had been right- the glass was all fogged over.

As John came he pulled Fawn close and kissed him. He grunted quietly, sinking deep as he came undone.

When it passed, he was boneless, melting a bit with Fawn still in his lap.

"God, I love you," he groaned quietly.

Fawn had his face buried against John's shoulder.

"Love you," was his muffled reply.

John kissed his hair where he could reach and held him carefully.

"You remarkable thing," he said softly. "I'm so lucky to have you."

"No, me. I am lucky," Fawn insisted, starting to purr. "I am full of fortune since finding you."

John looked at him then, holding his face still so he could focus in the dim carpark light.

"I love you, Fawn," he said, as if it were a heavy confession and not something he'd said dozens of times already.

"I know, and I love you," Fawn said, confused, but smiling before playfully nipping John's thumb. "I have never loved before. It's nice. It makes my stomach buzz like it's full of wasps."

"That's not a bad way of describing it," John smiled. "I've been in love plenty. It's my favourite thing>"

"Where are all your other loves? Can I meet them?" Fawn asked.

John grew quiet for a long moment.

"No," he said sadly. "Most of them are dead."

"Oh," Fawn said softly. "I am sorry," he added gently, settling against John's chest and holding the man tightly.

John held him loosely, basking in the sweet comfort of his weight. He smelled so good and everything about him made his cynicism slip away. Like this, John could believe for a bit that the world was good. Safe. That he was free.

"We go home now. I'll put you to bed," Fawn decided. "Tomorrow I will make us breakfast."

"Alright, love,"he replied. It was easy to smile at the very idea of that. It was so bloody normal.

"I will make the thin cakes on the stove," Fawn decided. "And you can tell me what the news is, and we can watch telly."

For such a feral little thing, he'd taken to being housetrained remarkably well.
