John had been checking on Klaus. He just didn't trust that the man had a good handle on his powers and John could imagine dozens of ways that could go wrong.

There was a little cafe just down from the flat where they all lived and John took a seat by the window so he could watch and see if Klaus might enter. Or exit.

When he saw Fin walk in he was sure he was busted.

He flashed him a cheeky smile anyway.

John took off his coat and tossed it over a chair and climbed back into bed. Fin wasn't wrong, it was one of the best beds he'd ever been in.

"Oh right, my coffee," he said, getting back up to get it from where he'd left it- then straight back to bed.

Fin got his own, then wiggled under the covers, getting cozy.

"What made you change your mind?" he asked suddenly.

"I'm a weak, weak man," he said. "And if demons do come after you, I think your power outweighs the audacity of my dick."

"But you did want to, yeah? I didn't- I wasn't pressuring you, right?" the fae asked.

It was obvious that mattered to him, that it was a worry.

"I know what it means to have nymph blood, so I'm always careful."

"The antithesis if pressure," he assured him.

"If I didn't give a shit about you, it wouldn't have taken me any time at all to say yes."

Fin relaxed a bit, nodding and sipping his coffee.

He thought about that a moment, then added...

"God, that makes me sound like a prick," he said with a little, kind of embarrassed chuckle.

"It's alright, I get it. ...I guess," Fin shrugged, holding his coffee to his chest to keep him warm.

"What I mean to say is I would rather be a good, or at least decent, memory. Rather than a reason for trouble."

He eased closer and rested his hand on him.

"Egotistical or not, trouble does follow me."

Fin lit up under the touch, the fae fed on affection.

"Trouble follows me too," he pointed out.

"Toblerone follows everyone im close to," he said. That might be because he actively avoided bringing his bullshit into normal people's lives.

"You don't have to worry about me, you know? I'm alright," he said softly.

"I worry about everyone, Fin. That's kind of my job. You know...being a nuisance," he told him.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Well I'm giving you a pass, mate. You don't have to give a shit about me," Fin assured him.

[petty_dabbler]

"Too late," he replied and took a large swallow of coffee.

Fin laughed, a soft and sad sound.

"Fine, then I'll do what I can to ease your mind."

John was quiet and picked up the remote. After he clicked through a few channels, he looked over at Fin.

"I kind of can't believe we didn't explode," he admitted.

"I felt the sparks," Fin said, wetting his lips. "It was... It was really hot."

[petty_dabbler]

"I've never felt anything like it," he said. "I could get addicted to it."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Same," Fin admitted, seeing no reason to lie.

"...Want another go?" he asked, grinning a little.

[petty_dabbler]

"Give a man a minute. I'm not some teen fucking machine," he laughed, holding Fin close.

[prince_of_nymphs]

Fin grinned, kissing John's neck and down to his shoulder.

"You need a little help getting it up old man?" he teased, his magic coiling lightly around John's cock.

John gasped sharply, mouth parted wide.

"Fuck me," he managed. "Alright, maybe not as long as I thought..."

Fin laughed, stealing another kiss.

This was fun. It was new and exciting. Hooking up with someone for the first time was always good fun.

"Don't laugh at your elders," he scolded breathlessly before crushing a kiss against Fin's smile.
