John had left Leo to sleep and had gone to the manor. Gerold had let him in and they'd poked around a bit. John found a bookshelf in the basement and after being nosy for a bit longer, found that the book shelf opened o a passage. His hand ignited and he waled into the dark to explore...

It was hours later when john came home. He smiled to see Leo still resting and he put all his gear down so he could get out of his filthy clothes and take a shower.

He moved through his flat in near silence so he wouldn't wake the lad up.

He'd been asked to come check out a graveyard and the weekend was days away so he went to sniff out Aaron. It had been a bit since he'd had a chance to chat with him. John was a busybody so he knew he was doing well in his classes, bu beyond that...

He knew the trauma of the jobs he had the boy doing could sneak up at the oddest times.

He tracked the lad to his room in the evening, when he was sure he'd be getting ready for bed.

"Aaron, lad," he smiled when the door opened. "Have a minute?"
